A friend in need is a friend indeed.

World Jewish Relief (London, UK) was the first to help. On the very first day of the war, exactly on February 24, we had a telephone call from WJR: “How can we help?”

Thanks to the selfless and instant help from WJR, we were able to provide assistance to 17 nursing homes in a timely manner. We were also able to support the elderly in Kharkiv and Donetsk Oblast, IDPs from Izyum and Mariupol. Monetary support helped to regulate the provision of meals for IDPs in Ivano-Frankivsk and at the Kiev railway station. Approximately 6,000 elderly Ukrainians benefited. WJR continues to help us.
